Businesses Broken Into In Farmingdale And Bethpage: Police
A laundromat and hair salon were broken into, police say. Two businesses in Farmingdale and Bethpage, New York, were broken into on Saturday. The back door of one hair salon was pried open before 4:10 a.m., and the cash register was smashed. A burglar stole $200 from the register, and $1,000 was nabbed.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Two businesses were broken into on Saturday: a laundromat in Farmingdale and a hair salon in Bethpage, Nassau police said.
The back door was pried open at Best Image Hair Salon, at 505 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, before 4:10 a.m., police said. A burglar stole $200 from the register, police said.
The back door of Farmingdale Village Laundromat, at 145 Main St., Farmingdale, was also pried open before 4:55 a.m., police said. The cash register was smashed, and $1,000 was nabbed, police said.
